Someone else can go post the direct link to where the rules say specifically that this is a no-no, but no, you're not allowed to receive help from friends/family, etc. You should have water on the bike (duh), and just check your race's info and see if there is a water stop during the run (there most likely will be, even for the smaller race - the ones I've done were not big and there was a water stop on the run at both). |

So it might be against the rules, but i dont think its of a nature where any official is going to care. That rule is mostly trying to prevent people from having their own personal SAG support. |
