For Valentine's Day, I drove through the snow (here in Lubbock, Texas, 2" of snow is a BIG deal), but I drove through the snow to get my wife and sons some Krispy Kreme donuts. With my dozen long stemmed red roses and donuts in hand, things are looking good for yours truly.

Well, the suprise comes when she gives me a Valentine's surprise. No, not that! She gives me a gift bag and inside are a pair of Nike Shox, Nike Dry-Fit running shorts and tops. I am very lucky.

It is great to have a significant other that is either supportive of your interests or shares those interests with you. Makes a world of difference.

I drove as fast as I could to my favorite bike shop to spend my gift certificate ( along with a bunch of money I did not have). Got to make sure the bike is road ready for the season. Love my wife even thought she really dose not understand my lattest passion.

My husband made a surprise breakfast for the whole family after he and I finished our workouts and showered. He bought a pan with a heart-shaped form and made us all heart pancakes (one at a time, for the four of us!). It took a while to do them all, but worth the wait. So sweet!Sharon
