Comments:

Found a place in the corral and walked to the starting mat once the cap gun was shot (dang liberal commies won't let us have a real gun I guess). Flew past a bunch of people that were definitely in the wrong corral. Two people were even WALKING side by side! WTF beyatches!?!? Didn't like the mile markers, but got used to them once I knew what to look for. I missed the first one by a few seconds. At Mile 2 in 17', awesome! Right where I wanted to be. I wanted to be at Mile 10 by 90' so I was already putting some time in the bank. The next few miles, I wanted to get down to 9 min miles, which was tough with the all the ups and downs. I did walk the water stations to really take in fluids since I was sweating more than I thought I would. The RT knee was starting to twinge around Mile 4. The idea was to stay just below AT (188-190) for the race as long as I could.
I felt fine through Mile 5, then the knee blew up real quick; struggled for another mile or so, then the GF passed me. I told her to keep getting it on and that she was under 9 min miles. I started walking and jogging a bit and focused on just running the next 4 minutes, then it became just run to that tree or the next turn. Last two miles were seriously painful. I barely remember seeing anyone the last mile except for a couple of friends at Sheetz. This was my race to get under 2 hrs, but it wasn't in the stars this time around.
What would you do differently?:

not run. will have to seriously consider holding off on runs for awhile and maybe do aqua jogging or something instead. absolutely no way to run through that pain.
Post race
Warm down:

walked to Wally World and then massive amounts of beer

On a flat course you could have gone under 2 hours, I think the hills played a role in everyones time.

Good job overall, rest that knee man.

Nice job. I think there were a lot of people in the wrong corral...I was near the front of the 2:00-2:30 corral and got stuck behind a ton of walkers at that big hill around mile 3.

Good job, especially with knee pain!  The hills surely didn't help that.  I agree about the "corrals" - no one was where they should've been.
