Second beach pool is open

 Vancouver, BC |  Subject: Second beach pool is openWent there today, it was really awesome. It's pretty quiet as the summer crowds aren't here yet, the water temp is probably about 77 F, totally a good time to go. Opens at 10 am. Just watch out for the sun, it's pretty strong. After an hour, I started to get a hint of red. |

Here are some sample lap times: 42.56 <- towards 46.23 <- away 43.69 <- towards 47.10 <- away 43.60 etc. 48.14 43.82 46.97 43.30 46.26 42.76 46.43 |

Extreme Veteran 665 Vancouver, British Columbia | Subject: RE: Second beach pool is open I felt the same thing swimming in Kits pool last week. I realized it was the wind. Swimming west the water would be all choppy and then swimming east was faster. One week til Open Water Swim Association starts up at kits beach!!! |
