I didn't report last week, so this is only a 2 lb loss in 2 weeks. I'd like to do that every week so I'm now 2 lbs behind. The marathon training starts this weekend, my workouts are ramping up, and my eating is getting better, so hopefully I can catch up to my goals. Everyone's support is really helpful. Thanks everyone!!

I am such a dork.  You can tell this sinus infection has altered my mental status as well.  I posted my weight at 168,  I'm really 158.  Same 2 lbs loss, just 10 lbs lighter.  Sorry Kathy!!

I'm a little disappointed my loss is so slow. I know that a pound a week is normal, but I was hoping to get a boost since I just started the diet. But a pound a week is nothin' to sneeze at!

Good job everybody!

Off topic, sorry folks!

bootygirl - How can you give up coffee? I look forward to it as soon as I wake up!

A very persistent wife and two weeks on the beach last month.

I really love coffee, but I was drinking way too much. I can't limit myself to a moderate amount (hey, why do one sport when you can do three!!!)

Anyway I feel much better. I don't really miss it since no one else in the house drinks it. And my appetite disapeared up until this week

Just a quick note to all that apologize for only losing a pound or so... DON'T!!!! A pound a week may not sem like much, but what if you do it for a year?  I did it for 40 weeks last year, and even though I lost less than a pound a week average, I still lost 35 pounds. And I have heard, read, whatever that the weight that STAYS off is the weight that is lost correctly, i..e.,. 1-2 pounds per week.

None of this lose 20 pounds a week Biggest Loser stuff, OK?  If you don't think that what you are doing is enough (when it really is) it's a lot easier to just say screw it and end up with your head in the refrigerator.  Be proud of the process, not the result.

sorry, rant off

Chris

Considering how the week started withe the Chinese food water retention and my weight swelling up to Christmas level, the fact that I managed to to lose .5 pounds.Hopefully next week will be better.

And to this I'd add that it's important to lose FAT and keep the lean as much as you can. Who wants porous bones? I want a strong healthy metabolism.

With that said, I'm down a pound of fat for the Lean Sweep Team.

Starting weight 173, I'm at 172 today and my LBM stayed the same in my first week.
