Subject: subscribe to a forum

How do I suscribe to a forum? I want to subscribe to North Carolina, but it's not listed when I go to my control panel and click the mass subscribe link. And I don't see any subscribe link on any of the forums either.

sorry if this is a noob question. (I did search for subscribe in the forum search function)

All forums have been enabled for subscribing.

Be careful with this, some of them can be very, very active.

I see in the responses to forums often that one of the blogger's comments are inbeded into another's response. Does anyone know how to do this?

Sometimes I want to respond to a comment made 4-5 people back and I want to reference what they said in my response. Thank-you.
