Cliff Bar really needs to come through! At least Gu is also a sponsor. I can somewhat tolerate Gu compared to Powergels. There is no way I can choke down a Powerbar during the run.

I love the dog turd thread!!!!

That's a bummer for the Ironmen and women. Eating a PowerBar requires me to sit down, catch my breath, focus solely on eating the damn thing and about 2 qts of water. I can't imagine being able to consume one whilst racing, much less an Ironman!!!!

PowerBar recently signed on as a national Team In Training sponsor as well. While I appreciate their financial and other support toward our cause, I do wish they made an edible product.

Bear, if you can get past the "Plastic Little Debbie Snack Cake" frosting, Powerbar's Harvest Bars aren't bad I have however, tried the Cookies and Cream regular Powerbar and that was tolerable...
