This race was run for Christine (lucy). i didn't know her but was so saddened and upset about her story and for her family. I have a husband a nd teenage daughter and like her loved triathlons. I can't even imagine what her family must be going through and felt I just had to do something in her honor even if it was far away. The sun was setting as I ran to the waterfalls that are only up for the summer here in NY. it was the perfect place to reflect say a prayer and support her and her family in spirit. I am greatful to be a part of this BT family whose compassiona and support and love continue to amaze me everyday. Thank you BTers and Lucy rest in peace.
