always, why sleep in a hotel with free breakfast, air conditioning and a pool when you cna spend all your money at the expo. Some of you people need to get your priorities straight

I will not spend money at the expo, I will not spend money in the finisher's store, I will not spend money in the expo, I will not spend money in the finisher's store . . . (if I write it on a note & put it under my pillow it will sink in.

Since I am technicaly still paying the CC bills for the hundreds of dollars I spent in Finisher's Merch. last year . . .

How far is that from the event?  Yoganerd and I are at the Marriott, but I'm bringing the camper down next year.  Let me know what you think of the park.

I stayed at the Galt House last year.  The best thing/review I can give is this:  I'm staying there again this year.  

The 2 biggest plusses for the Galt House is location and the fact that is is race HQ.  The expo is at the Galt House, packet pick-up is at the Galt House, race briefings are at the Galt House, bike tech support is at the Galt House.  Everything is w/i walkng distance from the Galt House - the race start, the race finish, the KICC for the pre- and post- race events and the Old Spagetti Factory and the Louisville Slugger plant (great tourist stop).  The view from the Galt House provides a wonderful view of the river and of the city of Louisville.
