Subject: Pedals for short duathlonTomorrow I have a short duathlon and that will be my first one for me. Just triathlon so far. The course is 4.7km/18.8km/4.8km where the bike course is lightly hilly. I should be in the top 3 after the first running leg and I am quite weak on the bike so I wonder if I should use MTB pedals avoiding changing running shoes. I would save maybe 1-2mins between T1 and T2 but I do not know how much I can loose on the bike because of those pedals. Then I will try to recover on the second running leg.
