Subject: Body Glide Question
I posted a question about my suit and was recommended to use body glide or some other lubricant around the back and arm pits. I do not have body glide. So, can you buy it at a retailer that anyone knows of, can I use a household lubricant like vaseline, or does anyone have any other solutions? Any and all help as always is appreciated. You do not want to use Vaseline on your wetsuit, although you can get away with a cooking spray like Pam. I see Body Glide at most athletic stores such as running stores.

Many wetsuit manufacturers warn against the use of petroleum-based products as it may harm the neoprene. Lots of folk use Pam (cooking spray) but I've also heard some manufacturers warn against that.

I'd check with whoever made your suit before using anything, especially if it's still under warranty.

I saw Body Glide at D*cks's sporting goods.  I'm sure many other places carry it.

I wouldn't suggest using vaseline(or the like) or Pam for the reason stated above me.  That being said, I know others do use it.

BTW, I use body glide on my calfs as well as my neck.  This helps me get my legs out of the wetsuit.

Not sure where you are located, but any running store should carry it (not a foot locker). Even alot of bike shops may.

Do you live near an REI? They sell it. And as everyone else said, a real running store or a bike shop would most likely have it.

Local bike shops should carry it.  I also saw it the other day at Sports Authority.
