I get a Sharpie and write the name of the race and the year then nail it on my garage wall.

I actually wear all of my race caps. Swim caps wear out SO quickly. It is nice to have plenty of back-ups!

This isnt a great suggestion but my kids play a really fun game with them, if you open the swim cap and dunk it in the water a few times so that it fills up with water, it becomes HUGE and then the kids can actually jump/cannonball into it. I'm not kidding! The race caps are perfect because they stretch. They did this at my son's swim team on "fun fridays" it is hilarious. Its probably on you tube somewhere.


We used to "capsulate" the smaller kids on the swim team... with their consent of course

I toss them in a bag with my other caps. I like my cap to match my swimsuit, so I appreciate the variety of colors.

Keep tjem for swim practice.  I seem to favor the ones where I've had a good race over bad race though (memory is a funny thing)
