Artemis - 2008-09-30 7:45 AM I got up to run this morning but it was pouring, so I went back to bed.  I'll run after work to finish up even if it is still raining.

Back to bed???  Sheesh!   Running in the rain is supposed to be fun, although I guess not if it's dark and cold in the morning.

How's everyone else doing on miles?  My plan was to take most of this week off as race recovery/rest, but if we need it I'll go get 4 miles in later today or tonight.

Todd

If it was just raining, I would have gone anyway.  This was the sort of rain where you are soaked in 10 seconds and then your feet hurt because you are running in puddles.  Not so much fun.  It was much better this afternoon.

I did 4.88 today, which puts me at 101.13 total.  I've never run this much in a single month.  I'm kind of proud of myself, but mostly tired.

Just giving you a hard time   Not fun to run in the rain when your feet are getting soaked.

Congrats on getting your goal completed!

Congratulations! This was my highest month also. I'm hoping for even more in October.

No running for me this morning like I'd planned....  the knee was just too sore.  I did a bit of stretching though, and rested it all day, and I feel pretty good now.  I think with yoga, stretching, and advil, I can get in something decent tonight to finish off the month.  Maybe not the 95% I'd hoped for, but more than I've got now.

We finished with 516 miles total as a team.  Our goal was 505.  Nice job everyone!!  I can't believe how much we ran, especially with all the injuries that have come up recently.

Thanks everyone. I know this Challenge helped me a bunch during my taper to keep running and after my race to get back to running.

Good job.

I'm getting pretty anxious about the final results. I have a strong feeling that we might have pulled into 1st. We had 6 of 8 people meet their goals, and the other 2 people were pretty high on their percentages.

Here's to crossing our fingers and waiting.

OH MY GOD!!!!!

I was so depressed that I couldn't get in that final mile.  The pain was just too much.  I really felt like I let you guys down.

Awesome job everyone!

The Chanticleers ROCK!
