Run
Comments: this was fun and muddy. beginning was tough - went off to the side to try to pass people so I could get on a pace. Passed tons of people on the downhills (just like on the bike ;-) and maintained or got passed on some uphills. I had started towards the back and moved to the middle during the race. I probably went out a bit hard but it was fun What would you do differently?: start further up. Post race
Warm down: drank water, ate a banana, walked around, schmoozed with BTT folks What limited your ability to perform faster: uhm I am not a runner? Event comments: I was doing it as a training run for Boston Half to get some hill work and that was fine. Last updated: 2008-08-28 12:00 AM

drove to the venue - about 40 minutes. Parking was remote, and the coffee I drank en route had hit - no bathroom at the parking and NO SHUTTLE in sight! waited for 5 minutes, then got nervous about missing the race - I was 2 miles from the race start and 15 minutes until it was supposed to start.
So I started running to the park, about half way the volunteer who was manning the parking gave me a lift and told me they were going to hold the start a few minutes(guess I was not the only one). ran straight to the porty potty line. phew.
