Subject: First Event Completed - Thrid overall

This account belongs to my son, but this note is written by daddy (DieuEtMonDroit).

My son (avatar) completed his first duathlon on Saturday (he'll learn to swim for next season).  Max was 3rd overall.  He, and all the kids, did a really good job and each had fun competing.  Most or all of them pushed themselves at some level and everyone seemed pleased with themselves as a result.

The race report is up.

You can ignore the comments at the bottom if you like.  Those are from mommy and daddy and explain the amazingly rude behavior the race company displayed after producing results that were missing our kid an other kids.  The race company was the only thing wrong with an otherwise good experience for our young man.

Sorry for the experience. Sounds like the company handling the event was very mediocre.

On another note, I would like to point out that your son can probably read this race report. Nice language intermixed in his race report.

Actaully, he does not get on the account yet.  I just interview him for answers - which was all his up to my comments at the end.  He is a good boy and doesn't use the language his ex-Army dad uses (which in the report was limited to a four letter word to describe a pile of crap).

Thanks Jim.  I'll read him the responses.  He likes sitting with me when we log his workouts and feels kink of important having his account on a computer.  So well go over the responses.

Same here.  I was never offended by your comments and wanted to word my response as such.  I did to go back and take some of the cursing out though.  I think it is best that way.

I've got to start putting an Army list together.  I run into Airborne or Army guys on BT every now and again and loose track of who we were.
