Sounds like a bunch of lollygaggers. The Yanks have already reported.

Well, I can guarantee that it won't be the Phillies and the Red Sox in the World Series this year. :-(

JDog, I love the Phils, but hate the owners. I got no problem with the core team.

They had a chance to make the playoffs last year but the owners wouldn't pull the trigger for a centerfielder and a pitcher. And you know that they were making enough dollars at the new park to make it work. (Plus I'm still p.o.'d at them for not putting the park on North Broad. That's where it was meant to be.)

The best move the owners could make this year would be to sell the team to someone who wants to win.

I hear ya. I didn't know about the North Broad thing, that would of been right near me. I am just north of Temple.

They were going to put it at Broad and Spring Garden, right where the state building and the Inquirer are.  It would have been beautiful,  Avenue of the Arts on South Broad, and Avenue of Sports on North Broad running up to Temple.

The Vince Fumo got his pants in a wad and killed the deal.

I get to go the opening game of Spring Training in Ft Myers...Red Sox v. Twins on 3 March...and then the next two games.
