Happy Wednesday!  Only four more swims before I complete the 0-1650 program and I officially lost 16 pounds last month!

I'm down to 184.  W00t!

Congratulations!  I know it takes a lot of hard work to take off the weight.

Why is it that I have the will and determination to do triathlons, but NO WILLPOWER to lose that kind of weight?  Heck, I only wanna lose 10.  Great job on your weightloss though.  Keep it up.

Congrats on the weight loss - speaking from personal experience, I know how hard it is!  And for me, the doritos and large bags of Halloween candy are what are keeping me from those last 10 pounds!  I guess I could exercise more too!

Great job as well on the swimming!  Where are you doing it in Madison.  I am researching some swim places/coaches since I don't belong to a gym.

As I told my 10 year old this morning, Happy Hump Day!

 Thanks all!

Tracy.  I am swimming at the Prairie Athletic Club.  We just joined it in August.  My brother is a swim coach so I am using him for any future training after  the 0-1650 training course.  That I found on the web.  It seemed scarily aggressive.  The first day I could barely finish the third standalone 100 but this morning, only five weeks later, I swam 1000 yards nonstop.

I know that the PAC has swim coaches but don't know of any others in the Madison area sorry.

Oh, and I do like the PAC's pool.  But the only other one I have really seen was the old West Side Princeton Clubs.

The PAC pool is hardly used, so good for you.  I haven't been in PAC for quite awhile now and gave up my membership since the owner built out and now has WAY too many members.  Plus, the cost got a little outrageous, 'specially for a family membership.  I do have a couple of friends that still go there, and probably still play v-ball.

Congrats on the weight loss and the swimming endurance build up. Yay you!

I swim at the SERF, so I'm not good for swim recommendations.

I swim at the Y.  We live between the East Y and the Sun Prairie Y.  The Sun Prairie Y is new and the east one is under renovation.  The nice thing is that you can use any of the 3 Ys.  I would check their swim schedules though as the east and west Ys have swim teams so there is very limited lap swim time.  I actually find it pretty frustrating.

Last spring I had been going to Kittleson Swim School (Yeah, it's for kids!) for their open lap times.  It was nice - the water was on average 88 degrees......!  The problem I had was timing it so that all the little kids weren't in the open changing room at the same time I was.  Their moms kept looking at me weird!
