Jockstrapping at Boston for the hubby Other than that, I want to do an "easy" Oly in early summer - recommendations being accepted! Maybe the Capitol View, although I think it's pretty hilly. Expert 1148 NW Suburbs, Illinois | Subject: RE: 09 race schedule I will be doing something like: Lake Mills May sprinkle some of these in there: Rockman HIM (early June), Pleasant Prairie Oly (Aug, great race), Cary 1/2 mary (March, Hilly bastage), Crystal Lake 2 mile swim (july - jszat - you need this one All of you that are doing IMWI, should consider Horrible Hilly Hundreds for a nice training day. It fills up fast, but its a well run ride and makes the Wisconsin course look a little less hilly (emphasis on the little Pam - no mid summer marathon for me just b/c it takes too long to recover from and the time (at least for me) is better spent training. |

Veteran 246 Racine, WI | Subject: RE: 09 race schedule Indoor Tri Series @ RecPlex in Pleasant Prairie (3-race series jan, feb and april) A smattering of sping road races - some 5k, 10K and probably one or two 1/2 marathons Would like to fit in a 20K or 40K Time Trial My Tri Schedule Lake Mills Sprint, BigFoot Oly, Spirit of Racine 1/2IM, Pleasant Prairie Oly, Accenture Chicago Oly. Might find some other sprints to sprinkle in for flavor haven't decided on which Fall Marathon to run. I love Twin Cities, Chicago is fun, haven't run Milwaukee Lakefront or Fox Cities in several years. Always have wanted to run Columbus, but never got chance. Still look back to the year i ran FoxCities, Milwaukee and Chicago - now that i'm older and slower, i don't thik i could repeat that adventure w/o injury. |

Definites: New Years day 5k in Neenah High Cliff 1/2 in June Door County Sprint in July Volunteer for at IMWI and register for 2010 Philly Marathon in Nov Maybes: Oshkosh Oly Manitowoc/Two Rivers sprint. I should probably do something before High Cliff. Any recommendations for races early in the season doable as day trips from Neenah? My training buddy has a 1/2 mary in the spring that he keeps taking about but I don't remember which one it is. |
