Subject: This SaturdayI will be doing my first 5K this Saturday the 25th. I am actually pretty nervous...I started at 225 #'s and doing ZERO exercise in May...I am at 165#'s and am doing 5K in 35 minutes on a treadmill, not a great time, but in May I literally couldn't jog for more than 2 minutes without stopping! I have been doing longer run/walks once a week training for a 1/2 marathon in November. This 5K came up in my hometown, so I decided to give it a shot. My first attempt at anything like this...I hope it goes well...I will give an update when it's over...wish me luck! PS This site has been VERY helpful every step of the way! |
