Funny things kids say.... (Page 2)

When my kids were younger my daughter was going to dress up as Tinkerbell for Halloween.  My son didn't know what he wanted to be but he wanted to dress the same as his sister.  So when I suggested he dress as Peter Pan he said "NO, I don't want to be Peter Pan, I want to be TINKERBELL!" 

Here is another one.  My daughter was speaking quite clearly at 18 months old but was really small for her age.  She was fussing about something one day and I told her if she needed to fuss she could go to her room.  So this tiny 18 month old screams at the top of her lungs "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO MY ROOM, YOU GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!!"  Then she runs into her room and slams the door hard enough to shake all of the pictures on the wall.  She is now almost 8 and hasn't mellowed much.

How creative....

From several years ago when times were a bit tighter financially (and apparently are about to be again.)

 My son was riding on my shoulders as we were checking out of the grocery store and the conversations goes like this:

Charles:  Dad can I have some candy?

Me:  Sorry son.  I don't have enough money for that. 

Charles:  Why not?

Me: We only have enough money for this food and not much else.

Charles:  Well can't we buy some more money so I can have some candy?

Haha, thats hilarious, but what kind of influences does you wife have on your kid? lol, not being rude...its just pretty funny.....

well, this is more what my son does..

He's at the age (well, I guess its not so much the age but just that he's male) where farting is hilarious. He makes all sorts of toot and snort noices with his mouth on his arm now while laughing hysterically.

Anyhow... lately if someone farts he'll run over and jam his face in their butt. And sniffs! LOL! He did it to my husband and in doing so sort of goosed him so my husband not only jumped 2 ft but also was mortified because this we on the way into a hardware store in public! But to add injury to insult, my son lets out a wail "EEEEW! Stinky!"

That's hysterical.  When ever somebodies child couldn't pronounce my name I always got to be Aunt Cake instead of Kate. 

The other night Christian (3) is jumping over my legs (shins) and tells me to keep moving them further apart…jumps…move you legs daddy…jumps..move…jump…and I’m hoping he doesn’t land on my shins.  Anyway, he sticks a pretty big jump and states, “I’M AWESOME!!”
