Run
Comments: My run was good up to the ten mile mark. I was moving along at between a 9:30-9:45 pace, but my IT band (knee) started giving me problems. The last 3.1 miles was a painful and frustrating gallop, but that's racing! What would you do differently?: I would probably wear my knee brace, and perhaps run the miles faster with walk breaks every 10 minutes so it averages out to a 9:30mm. This way I would reduce the pounding on the knee. Post race
Warm down: Walked around after taking the timing chip off. Stretched and had half a bagel. Hugs to all my fellow BT people, then off to Ellens house for a nice shower and lunch. Oh, and also had my Endurox recovery drink. What limited your ability to perform faster: IT Band (knee) Event comments: My only comment, is: How can you eat Chili after a race--YECH!!
