Champion  8766       Evergreen, Colorado |  Subject: IMAZ courseOkay, so...I had a short ride this morning and I rode the first part of the course...from Tempe Town Lake to Beeline. HOLY CRAP. That scared me! Talk about a NOT bike friendly ride! Four lane roads with no shoudler and fast traffic! HELP! I'd like to ride the Beeline part for my longer ride this week (about 4 hours) because it seemed to have a decent shoulder. But is there a better, more bike friendly way to get there from Tempe Town Lake? |

Expert 983 Tempe, Arizona (hot hot hot) | Subject: RE: IMAZ course From Tempe Town lake take RioSalado to McClintock turn left (North). There will be bike lane right after you cross the bridge. Take that to McDowell. Take a right (East) on McDowell it will have a bike lane to the BeeLine. Then just turn left and you are on your way. I will ride it Thursday if you need the company. I also can tell you more at Four Peaks Manana. |
