aidana - 2008-11-12 2:21 PM Question for Joe.... Do you still have any Donkey Tri gear we can order or do we just have to wait till the next round? Gracias!
I have some mix and match stuff, primarily arm warmers and what not but we need 10 of the same kind of top or bottoms before we can place an order for them.

Rosshole - 2008-11-11 4:33 PM Well then, as my soul was traded to the devil in return for a carbon fiber speed machine, I may as well pledge whatevers left to the Donkai Training Program.

Welcome to the herd. Eeeaaawww! If you want some non-trainer gear to show your support, you can find some here:

http://www.cafepress.com/TriDonkai

You'll see our family members sporting the supporter gear. (I make no money on this, so I can promote it all I want. ;P)

Up at the top there is a drop down that allows you to select your currency...you might accidently have yours on  pound sterling.

Terri, the SW Y off Beloit road has a masters swim...reasonable, sign up for 3 months at time or something. Dont have to be a member. Lauren Jensen does SOME of the coaching.

The masters at the SW Y is great..we also have a great tri-stroke class...and the starting of a decent tri club.......might be a bit partial to the SW Y.Oh and Lauren is awesome!

September 2 - February 27, 2009.

Link to sign-up form: http://www.teamunify.com/wswest/__doc__/26901_2_swim%20america.pdf

I signed up back in September, but haven't taken advantage much...facilities are better than my last master's swim club.

I was put off early on when part of the planned workout was a bunch of "fly" stuff. Not really relevant for me as a triathlete and I have never been a competitive swimmer, so no fly skills whatsoever. The dude's reply was "you don't have to do it" which is true, I suppose, but IMO, part of going to a Master's swim club that has advertised itself to be suitable for triathletes is to get a training program and workouts focused on stroke mechanics at the basic level up through free sets.....Probably an issue of trying to be all things to all people. Ambivalent about going back once I get into my base build phase....would be better if there were more triathletes...
