It sounds like a bunch of BT'rs will be swimming today down at Aquatic Park at 5:30 and Saturday at 7:00. If you roll down there early, just make a small post and I'm sure you'll have a swimming buddy meet you down there! Everyone is welcomed to join us! The park is located down Van Ness where it dead ends. A nice enclosed area with buoys. See you there!

I wish everyone better luck traveling than I had yesterday.  I was supposed to get into SFO at 1:30 PM...I got there at 2 AM.

If you are flying American watch out...many many people got stranded last night and will be trolling the airports this morning trying to go somewhere.

I might try to make that.  I'm lingering over breakfast...recovering from my ridiculous travel day yesterday.

And I never changed the time on my watch so I have to do math...I believe that's in 1.5 hours..

I will be at the info session tonight wearing a BRIGHT red and white Escape Velocity cycling jacket.  Swam this morning at aquatic park and biked out to the golden gate bridge. The hills are fun!  The best part has been talking to all the racers wandering around.  Everyone is excited and nervous  

Anyone interested in a 9am ride on a bit of the course tomorrow before the festivities on the marina green begin?

I'm driving out tomorrow.  Do I even need to pack shorts to wear at the expo or efter the race?  Or is it too cool for shorts?

Hey, everyone!

So I've been doing a bit of walking around and I think I found a great place for dinner tomorrow night.  It's a pasta joint just a few blocks from BT Central (aka the Edwards II).

Does everyone at the Edwards still want to meet in the lobby around 5-5:15ish?  Then maybe head to the Italian place?

I'm on bt with my mobal so forgive any oddities. It sucks that after talking all this time, I may not meet everyone. I was at the hotel bar on thurs. at 5:45 and it was closed... I went on an Alkatraz tour on fri night and missed averyone again but got to see the swim from the island! I have not been able to get any workouts in because of all the family things I need to do. I wanted to ride the bike course today but no luck. Sorry, but I just can't be up at 6 to go swimming!!! Maybe at 9. I have the day to myself (sat) since the wife will be in wine country with family so I will be randomly working out and getting my packet and going to the 1pm meeting. Is anyone getting together for lunch or dinner? Good luck to everyone if we don't get to meet! BTW I'm the other 6'8" guy but have an asian wife. We have been in and out of the hotel for the last couple days.
