Subject: RE: swim guru's...quick question about kicking drills mdickson68 - 2009-01-30 9:42 AM I am nearly the last person anyone should listen to about swimming... With that caveat, I have found that after a few lengths of hard kicking drills (side and front, usually no kickboard), my 'normal' kick (4 or 6 beat kick, fairly relaxed -- I'm not kicking hard when I swim) feels easier and smoother and more streamlined. I don't do the kicking drills to get stronger; I do them because it improves my form. At least, that's what I currently believe.
Excellent point and very well put! Thank you! |
