Extreme Veteran  744    Ontario |  Subject: 70.3 get togetherI was talking with Matt, Jeff and Stef about having everyone who is doing Steelhead or Muskoka get together for a ride and then come back to my place for carb replacement and a chat about our 70.3s. Everyone is welcome, but we have several people around here who are doing their first half, or first triathlon at Steelhead or Muskoka this summer, so it might be useful to get together and talk about race logistics, transitions, hydration and nutrition strategies, aid stations, etc. Matt is away this weekend, and Stef is doing her double century next weekend, so what would be a good day? Stef suggested this Wednesday night. Matt, if you see Jim please invite him too. Also I think that Dave Gibb is doing Muskoka? Dave |

Extreme Veteran 744 Ontario | Subject: RE: 70.3 get together A weekend probably would work better, but we are getting into race season so people are going to be busy with long workouts and races on weekends. Next weekend you have your double, the weekend after is Belle River and Milton, the next weekend is Lakeside, the one after that is Leamington and Guelph, then some people are doing Firecracker as a Steelhead warmup, etc. Is there a better day for you Jeff? |
