Run
Comments: This was a really nice course. The first mile of the race took us on a tour of the Veteran's Home grounds, winding through the cemetery before heading out onto the country roads. All those white headstones in perfect lines was a bit breathtaking. I wasn't really sure what to expect from myself, performance-wise. I've done a lot of racing this month. My goal was to run a steady race - no crash and burn at the end. I managed to accomplish that despite the fact that my IT band started hurting in the first mile. I'm not sure what that was all about - haven't had IT pain since way back when I first started running. What would you do differently?: I'm fairly happy with my results. I think once I get back into the training groove and start working my run milage back up I'll start to see some improvement at the 10K distance. Post race
