Not able to post tickers or pics in my goal section

You need to enable the Rich Text Editor for that:

Settings -> Forum Settings -> Use rich editor for blog and forum posts? -> Yes

Ok- I changed that setting to "yes" and tried to paste a new ticker and nothing shows but a little grey box.


The same goes for an image.  I logged back on, tried again and got the same thing.  Any other suggestions??

Would you be using Safari 4.0 by any chance?

Nope- I'm using Mozilla.  But what's weird is that my work computer is totally different and I'm still not able to post any new pics or tickers in my blogs on that one as well.

I just verified a ticker in my goals section.  Are you using the 'html' option and pasting that code via the 'html' button in the editor here?

Yes.  I already have one ticker that was in my goal section for a few months and tried to add a new the same way- and nothing. 

I can't even cut an image/picture that's already in my blog and past it somewhere else in my goal section like I used to- it will give me the same little grey box without the image.  It's weird because I cannot figure out why I'm not able to do this anymore. 

I can however copy an image from my goal section and paste it into an email or a different document, but I cannot paste it anywhere on BT- not even on a thread- it won't show up at all- not even the little grey box.

Not sure if any of that helps with troubleshooting or not.

OMG- I finally figured it out! I can't cut and paste the ticker image like I used to!  That's what I was trying to do and it wouldn't work.  I guess it has changed with the "New BT".

I figured out that now I have to go to the special icon (insert/edit image) when I was change my dashboard, paste the ticker address in that, and then it's added it to my blog!
