Subject: RE: prescription sunglasses?I've got the perfect set up for you! I too wear glasses and have my whole life. I am new to tri.'s but I have always been an active outdoor person. Just before I got in to tri.'s I was a competitive motocross racer (2001 Texas state champ and 4th and 5th at ponca nationals ). I 've tried them all. From cheap to high dollar Oakleys. What I now wear has been the best by far! They are from the Wal-Mart eye glass place. What ever they call it. They have a fashionable style simalar to some of the Rudy's and on the insde of the frame they have a comfort foam padding. It is not noticeable from the out side and it keeps the sweat out of your eyes. 100 degree run is nothing to a 100 dgree endurance race when you have full gear on and a helmet. Never have I got sweat in my eyes w/ these. They also have small cushion inserts by the ears. On the left arm they say (inside the arm ) Liberty. on the right- Torque. I always get complaments on them at work. And then they put them on.lol I'm blind as a bat. The things look sweet. I wear every wear. The frame cost 45 dollars. I bought an extra pair a few months ago beacuse they had them on sale for $20 They are indestructable! Just take them your prescription. Hope that helps |
