I posted this in the gear review too but thought I would hit up any gear heads here in the TdF forum.

Anyone tried one fo these yet?  Going to be replacing my helmet soon and this one continues to catch my eye.  Only problem is the price tag on the darn thing.  That and the company doesn't crash replace at a discount like others do.

I'm a pretty good "hot-head" and based on some of the reviews I've seen, this might be a nice solution.  I just can't get over the $ tag.  That and I haven't been able to find a dealer yet, here in the states.

So, anyone seen one or given one a try on?

Here's a link to see one.

Haven't tried one, but just saw it on wiggle.co.uk for $156, which isn't any more than the top of the line GIRO's.

I don't believe Catlike is CPSC or whatever certified (or at least they were not at one time.).  I am sure it protects your head well but might get DQ'd if you try to wear in a Tri or Bike race.

Hadn't gotten that far.  And you are right.  They don't meet CPSC and therefore are illegal in Tri's.  Good catch.

Interesting that they are essentially eliminating a pretty good size market by not meeting those standards.
