1st tri, 1st podium

Regular  69  Jacksonville |  Subject: 1st tri, 1st podiumCan't wipe the smile off my face! I put out a strong effort today in my first ever sprint (300m/10mi/2mi) and grabbed 3rd in my AG (20-29)!! Sure, it was a short race and a small field of about 135 or so, but it felt AMAZING to go out and throw together a solid race. You can bet I won't stop after this one. I'm getting the race report together and will publish it later tonight. I just had to get it out there because my wife is tired of hearing about it. I'm done patting myself on the back..I'll get back to training this week. More than anything, I am just stoked to officially be a "triathlete." |
