Subject: Rebuilding distance question Recently had a major injury that left me in the hospital for two days and wasn't allowed to exercise for two weeks (shattered arm - doctor's orders ). I was released to exercise last Monday and have been trying to figure out where I should start my running from again. So far I've done a longest run of 2.3mi before my heart rate spiked and my arm started swelling again. Besides running until my arm swells and then stopping, does anyone have any advice? I still have a short cast on, so it makes running a bit difficult, but it's nothing I cant handle. |
