This year has been a life changing experience for me. I have not only completed my first triathlon but I am signed up to run at least 3 more before this marathon. I am doing the Marathon Readiness Series to get ready for this race. The series is 5 races ranging from 15k to half marathon. The races are from Aug 16^th until Nov 8^th. I'm in the same boat. First triathlon this year and this will be my first marathon. I am very stoked. Although I will be deployed for most of the time between now and the marathon, I should be able to adequately prepare my body and my mind to be able to complete the marathon. I look forward to a wonderful experience!!!!!

Hey NavychiefMM I am an EN1 so more power to you for getting out of the pit and into the sun. Hope the deployment goes well and you get a chance to get in race shape.

anyone have a strategy for parking for the marathon ?

seems as though the Kapiolani area parking will be unavailable in that immediate area.

I want to park near the finish, and take the bus over to the start, but don't know where to park.
