dude i do not know wtf is going on with my system but for some reason, recently i have been getting diarehha and bad gas from running i assume.

i have started running cross country and swimming for a neighborhood team daily since june but i have been getting diareha since june 20-30 or something and it hasnt stopped.

it could be from the water, cuz i went running in the mountains for camp and then back to where i normally am at. i drink from water fountains that are on the island that i run everyday. is there anything i can do to not have diarehha? and i dont drink a lot of milk.

do you eat before your run? If so, leave more time after eating before the run or adjust what you are eating.

Does it only happen when you run? Or is it constant?

If it's only when you run, it may be a GI issue with what/when you eat before you run.
If it's constant, you may want to get checked out for an allergy or intestinal disorder like IBS or Celiac Disease.

Where did you drink from in the mountains? Even clear cool mountain streams harbor parasites and bacteria.  If it's pretty constant, severe diarrhea you might also want to get checked out for parasites like giardia or cryptosporidium.

Oh, and the big problem with diarrhea usually isn't the thing that's causing it, but the dehydration that occurs since your body is losing so much water.  If you're still running, you need to be drinking even more water than you think is necessary.  There are some over-the-counter meds that can slow the number of times you go, but you still have to treat the cause at that point.

If it's only been happening since you were at the camp, I would definitely go to the doctor and have them run some tests.  Intestinal parasites can stick around for a long time.

Run? Probably. Just go find out what's causing it soon, so you can get back to 100% ASAP.

Run, yeah. But you'll feel horrible and likely get sicker and sicker as time goes on ....

And depending on what they are - if "they" exist - they may be multiplying and taking over more of your body ... you want to find out what's going on and rectify it ASAP before it gets worse and possibly requires hospitilization, expensive medication, and time off training.
