Does the race number for your helmet go on the front or on the side?

I have always seen it on the front.  Welcome to BT.

I've seen either, but personally I wear mine in the front.

The photographers can identify what pictures they have a little easier when it's in front.

They told my FIL that one wrist band goes on your seat stem, the other on your.....wait for it......wrist.  I believe your body marking will be your run race id.   We didn't get one for our race either.

It is new this year...no BIB numbers.  You got the 2 wrist bands and the sticker for your helmet, that's it.  One on the wrist and the other on the seat post.  HIM still gets a large number to go on the bike, but no BIB for that race either.  Hope that helps.  Have no idea how the photographer will be able to see your body markings on the run so smile while on the bike!

Sounds like an order screw-up, or saving costs.  Either way, it's one less thing having to put on in T1.  Pictures - well, I'll make my own placard with my number on it or hold up my fingers, unless I have a triple digit number, hmmmm, that'll take some innovation.

Weird. But, ya know. I'm just gonna roll with it - cause that's the plan for everything about this race. Just roll with it.

You're right...it was a cost thing.  I also don't know how they'll announce the names as you come across the finish line??  Perfect opportunity for Craig to bust out the bullhorn!

Hey Phil...guess this means I won't have to yell at you to put your number on while you run, eh?

Yep, will be hard to ID people for pics...but, have to say it was pretty nice running without a number flapping around, and no race belt climbing up to my neck! (well, maybe not my neck, but doesn't stay where I want it!) Almost felt naked without it!!! And hey, saves 1.17 seconds off of T2, if you put your race belt on IN transition!

I asked just to make sure and even though the timing chip is put on the bike for tonight, tomorrow morning we take it off our bikes and put it on our ankles, just like usual. The yellow paper wristband is just to get into transition I guess, like a fake ID for underagers.
