Hypothetically....I'm sat green with envy over your choice :-) I have some brand loyalty as well, I would personally go with the Felt, the spec sheets on all are good, the SRAM red components on the transition and Dura ace on the Felt, great, but you wouldn't expect anything less. The build and design of the Felt are awesome, the frame and integrated fork/headset design is a masterpiece in my view. If I had been cleared to buy that Felt when I was looking I would have. The 808 wheelset tops it off for me. Hypothetically I would take the Felt, but they are all different shapes and even in the realms of hypothesis I'm not sure they would all fit :-) enjoy testing them and enjoy your choice.

Love the look of the Ridley but the Campy components scare me because I don't know alot about them and they're hard to find in my area. Loved the Felt but liked the old paint scheme better. Love the transition but like dura ace over sram. You're screwed having to make that decision. It drove me nuts and I can't afford any of them.......yet!

If i got to choose I would go with the Felt, mostly out of brand loyalty, but also because to be its the best looking bike out of the three.. but seriously I would have a hard time thinking all three would fit you perfectly, so I would probably go with the one that fit the best. Good luck with this terribly difficult decision. I'm sure you will make the right choice! |

I have HUGE Specialized loyalty, but isn't there an issue on the Transition where the brake levers strike the top tube when you turn the bars to the stops? Seriously, any inputs, comments or critiques of any of the three bikes is welcome. TTIUWOP-  We need pictures! That's how I would make my decision. If I liked riding all 3 of them... I would pick based on color and style. |

| Master 2210 Columbus, Ohio Coaching member | Subject: RE: Choices, choices... The Transition is very nice, but I don't like those weird pieces of plastic on top of the brake levers that flip up. Campy gears are FANTASTIC and I would love to have a Felt with Campy stuff. The engineering is superior. So I would take the drivetrain off the Ridley and put it on the Felt! Just kidding - I guess you have to choose. The Felt DA has the Bayonet front end. I talked to a guy riding one of those and he had some complaint about the way in handled - I can't remember. But I love my Felt. I guess go ride them all! |
