I'm looking for a new rear wheel for just training on.  I want something that is strong and resists going out of true and weight and aerodynamics are of little concern.  I don't want to spend a lot so I narrowed it down to a few different wheels.  Whikch do you think would serve my purposes the best:

neuvation M28 Aero 3 - $150

Mavic Aksium - $120

Shimano Ultegra FH-6600/Mavic Open Pro - $150

Man, this is like the fifth thread you've started on this one small buying decision. Just do it already.

Hahahaha, I know, I know.  I tend to get crazy about these things.  I just want to make sure that I get something decent... most bang for the buck.

A few weeks ago, I crashed hard enough to bend my base bar, aero bars, fork, and the head tube of my frame.  But my Neuvation R28 wheels were still true (even the front).  I'd go with the Neuvation wheels.

IMO you cannot beat the simple set up of an Open Pro with any quality hub.  I have a set of Open Pro's on my road bike that are now approaching 11 years old and still roll perfectly fine.  They have been used for a lot of training on the road bike and also about 10 cyclocross races over the years.

Ultegra and Open Pro.

Hell, even 105 will work fine!
