Much needed, that bit by the water treatment plant and then back thru the industrial part was BAD! I'm glad Don was able to make the change, otherwise I think it is an awesome event. IMHO, the support at GR is FAR superior to Chicago or Detroit. I'll be there!

Good to hear. I live in Spring Lake, and I thought logistically that getting to race in GR for my first Mary would be easier. Then I was envious of some friends going to Chicago the weekend before. It is nice to hear a veteran, who has done the others, love on GR.

I have done the hlaf twice and the full once and love it. Not sure about the new route I have not had a chance to get out and run it yet. But it should be good.

It cost that much because you have waited so long. Sign up early and it's cheaper. It does come with good food and all the beer you want at the end though.

Doing 22 or so in Spring Lake this Saturday for my last long run before the race. I will be leaving my house at 5am. looking to go at about a 9:00 pace.

I'll be there...for my 3rd full (ran Milwaukee '08 and Bayshore this past May). First time at GR. I've run the half twice. Don Kerns puts on a nice race. Looking forward to seeing the new course. I went to support a friend last year and am glad to see that the water treatment plant bit is gone.

So what is everyone planning on wearing? Just talked with a co=worker who ran Chicago yesterday nad it was 30 at the start and 39 at the finish. Looks to be a little warmer this Sunday in GR. Any thoughts?
