Started off pretty fast but eased down into a decent pace after a few minutes. Only one person passed me near the start of the 2nd lap, and for a second I thought it was Mike - he maintained pace with me for most of the first lap. I briefly tried to keep up with him, but couldn't. I finished pretty strong. I think I came in 7th...
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Minor stomache cramps.

Event comments:

Great little event held on most holiday weekends right on base where I work. Never more than 30 runners, but pretty good comradere.

4th race - best time.
