Thank goodness it is a lap top so I can use it. I may have to take it in to get fixed... near the shoe store... today...

Morning everyone else.  Snuck another aqua jog in last night - 1 more and I am done.

Contemplated a real run later this week but on my walk into the office my IT Band (very quietly) acted up so that put that thought to rest.

I have about a 10 minute walk in from free parking (so I can spend more on bikes ) and I figured it was a good test.  Failed

You guys are all doing a great job!

Nice job on the aqua jogging.  Sorry to hear the ITB wasn't a fan of the 10 minute walk

I guess it is for the best because if it did not act up I would be dumb and go run

At least you're finding the bright side of things

Patience is a tough thing to actually have to practice!

Yes and I think rushing this thing will only make it worst so I need to calm down and wait her out!

Unfortunately, YEP.

ceilidh - 2009-10-27 8:01 AM I have an Italian mouse that my computer does not recognize... maybe its visa is expired...

Good one Robin - that was pretty funny.  Did you try some sauce or wine to bribe it?

I can try pasta... wine for a state owned computer would probably not be a good idea.........

ceilidh - 2009-10-27 7:54 AM I started a 1/2M training plan yesterday

Great job Robin - did you do a BT plan or a different one?

New shoes are definitely a must!  Don't delay!

I did a hybrid of Higdon and a BT. Using the length from BT and the cross training from Higdon.. I still need to print it out and tweak it.

disturbed275 - 2009-10-27 6:43 AM I got in a fantastic 6 miler last night.  Felt good from the get-go so I pushed the pace a little.  Still felt great by the time I brought it home.  That's the first time that's happened in awhile.

Nice job Neal!

My ride home yesterday was pure torture.  A headwind the whole way home and being on my mountain bike made for a long slow ride.  There was no steady about it

Man was I glad to be home when I finally made it!

I'm convinced that tailwinds don't actually exist.

I'm with you Ann! My last tri every time I turned the wind was still in my face!
