"How do you feel about Chinese food?"...  I F*cking LOVE Chinese Food!
You're Jewish whether you realize it or not.

I'm sure we can put our minds together here in CoJ and expand on the generic Christian branch, e.g.:

Do you enjoy incense?  If yes, you're Catholic.

If no: do you like tuna casserole?  If yes, you're Lutheran.  If not.....

We're Jewish, and we normally spend Christmas day at my sister-in-law's, whose husband is Italian. This year, they're on vacation, so my wife asked, "What are we going to do this year on Christmas day?" I told her, "We're going to go to dinner at a Chinese restaurant and then go see a movie without having to wait in line, just like all the other Jews in New York."

I think my favorite parts are the bit about hummus and whether or not you are rich and insane.

That is the exact point at which I started laughing!!  (picturing Tom Cruise)

x3. Funniest part for me also--the rich and insane scientologists.

Chinese dinner and a movie or a play on Christmas eve is mandatory.  In fact, I'm pretty sure it's in the Talmud.

Israelis and Palestinians should come to NY on Christmas so they can see how well Jews and Muslims can get really along... at the movie theater on Christmas day!  I used to crack me up to see nothing but non-Christians all getting along so peacefully watching 'Christmas Vacation'.

It IS possible!

ChrisM - 2009-12-04 2:26 PM hilarious... BUT I don't think the "meh" answer to bacon should eventually flow to a muslim

Aw, I thought it was funny - that they boiled down the difference between Islam/Judaism and Christianity to whether or not you can eat bacon, and then the difference between Islam and Judaism to your enthusiasm for hummus. Although, I would disagree that a "Meh" answer about hummus automatically brings you to Judaism. In seriousness, most of the Jews I know always have hummus around as a diet staple, esp. if they have kids. Since keeping kosher can be somewhat of a challenge, some of them stick to mostly a vegetarian diet, and hummus is a great protein source.

Yeah, I thought it was funny too, but I think Muslims cannot eat pork? So they'd have to be more than "meh," technically it would have to be a "no" (or, more in line with the theme something like "those trash eating pigs? never")

Correct, both Jews and Muslims cannot eat pork, so if you answered "I F*ing love bacon", then you can't be a Jew or a Muslim according ot the chart

I'm pretty sure you could do an entire flowchart of Christian sects based on alcoholic preference:
Wine - Italian Catholic
Whiskey - Irish Catholic
Beer- Lutheran
Vodka - Episcopalian
Alcohol is the devil's drink - Baptist

I'm a Jew and I speak for my people when I say that we enjoy chummus, not hummus, whatever the heck that is.

And besides those who work in the restaurant, the rest of the Chinese would be busy celebrating Christmas.  Or working on getting reincarnated into some good lives.
