Subject: Probably an easy answer - Custom training plan - matching Day # with Date
I am having trouble, when I import my Training Plan into my log, getting the dates to match up.

I design my own plan, and every week, I edit the plan to include the new week's workouts.

Well I keep changing the import date, trying the start date or the conclude date, and every time I view my Planned Training, it has workouts for two weeks from now, which I have not entered workouts for! Is there some way to tell it that Day 1 = Dec. 5 or something like that?

Also, my graph that shows Planned vs. Actual stays the same no matter how I change the dates around on the calendar in the Import Training screen. It is showing no Planned training for the current week in the graph, even though workouts are listed below the graph.

I'm not sure exactly what process you're following so I'm not sure what's going on here.

Can you describe the process in detail, using the page URLs and terms on the pages themselves?

Sure.
Issue #1: When I view my Planned Training on my Training Log homepagehttp://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/index-weekly.asp?memberid=99471&year=&month=&day=
....there is training in there for dates this week. This is strange, because I have not put anything in my Training Plan for those dates yet this morning. I have to figure it out week by week. So why are there workouts for Jan 10? Is it copying the previous week?

Issue #2: I go to my Training Plan, and hit Edit Days
http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/training-plans-edit.asp?planid=5869
I add training sessions into the new week, using Edit and Move Next button:http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/training-plans-editday.asp?planid=5869&day=30
Now I have entered training plan days through Day 35.http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/training-plans-editday.asp?planid=5869&day=35
Now I go back to my list of Training Plans:http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/trainingplans-list.asp
I hit Upload to Training.
NOW HERE'S WHERE I AM NOT SURE....
I have just added one week to my Training Plan. So I choose an Import Date of 1/10 and I click "Import Concludes at this Date"
I leave the Day Range at 1 through 35. (I could change this to just 28 through 35. Should I?)
Then I click the big button called "Import into Planned Training."

Now my Planned Training calendar...  http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/index-weekly.... ....has my new training in it for this week on the correct days (yay!) but there is also training planned in there for the rest of the month, which is weird. What is that? Where is it coming from?

The extra days are probably from a previous import that included those days.

When you import a training plan it only affects the days in the range you select. No workouts outside of that range will be deleted. For instance, if I import a plan that concludes on January 31, it won't affect any workouts scheduled for February

Try deleting anything in your Planned Training after 1/10 and let us know if this happens again when you import next week's workouts.

Ahhh, got it. So I screwed it up on some prior occasion, and they will remain in there until my current training plan puts something new in there, or I delete them.
OK! Thank you!
