Subject: Clydesdale Division in Ironman Branded Races

I was under the impression that Ironman races did away with the clydesdale division in all their races, but checking the NOLA results from this weekend, there are definitely people classified in the clydesdale division. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

looks like they also have relays in NO, which isn't common... maybe a RD thing. As before, I would assume clydes not kona eligible

thats what i was thinking, but i would think that ironman would want everything uniform across the board. i would also make the assumption that those who race in clydesdale would not be eligible for Kona or Clearwater slots as they are affiliated with no age group.

Can't speak for the other races or consistency across the WCT universe, but IM70.3NO definitely did have Clydesdales. No separate wave, though, they started in their respective AGs.
