Subject: Photos in Training Log?
When I check others training logs some have photos loaded there.
I see the icon where I add a photo but can't copy and paste the photo and don't know how to make it a url.  Some help would be great, thank you!

A url is the address of an item on the web.  You can get it from the address bar of your browser or by right clicking on the image and selecting "Copy Image Location" in FireFox or "Properties in Internet Explorer, or "Copy Image Address" in Safari.

Just to confirm, you cannot upload from your machine, you have to first upload the picture to Flickr or some other site and then get the URL and then add to BT.

It is one of my pictures on my computer so I loaded it into photobucket and got the html code and the img code and neither of those work.  I get the red X and/or the link but not picture.

Go back to your picture in Photobucket, RiGHT click it and scroll down to Properties.... highlight and copy the http info... go back to BT and paste that in the URL box.  That should work... the html code and img code never worked for me either!

Sometimes a photo won't upload if you don't delete the "img" from the beginning and end of the URL.

When you copy from Photobucket and paste here, try deleting the [img]........yourphotosurl....[img].

This has worked for me on several other sites.

Here I am a couple of months later trying to change my picture and having the same issue.
The pic is on photobucket just like the last one was.  I have gone to share on their site and gotten every single link and pasted it and none of them work.  Tried html, img etc. and they all just show up with text and no picture.   I tried to right click the pic and copy into the log and that didn't work either.  I don't know how I got it to work last time but I can't get it to work again.  Frustrating.  Is there a link on here somewhere with directions???

In order to figure this out, we'll need to know *exactly* what you're doing. How are you getting the address of the image from photobucket? What is the address of the image? How are you trying to post it in your log, etc.

You are so sweet to reply and try to help.  What I realized is I was puting the link right in the space after I clicked edit.  What I needed to do was click 'add photo' and then put the link where it asked for the url.  I am typing this because I will likely forget this step again when I go to update my picture in a couple of months and maybe this post will jog my memory when I come looking for it.   Oh, and getting old sucks.  That is all.
