Subject: Bike times during training vs. race dayI did a 10 mile bike ride on a very hilly course. However, my 10 mile bike for my Tri is all flat. According to mapmytri, it has a min -3 ft, max 69 ft, ascent 105 ft, and decent -105 ft. The bike ride that I am training on has a min 266 ft, max 463ft, ascent 331 ft, decent -325 ft.
I guess I am wondering how much faster will I be on the triathlon bike ride versus the ride I am training on. Any thoughts? I weigh 195 lbs so I should technically be faster on flat and downhill courses versus hilly courses. |
