today: 158.8 (actually i was up at 159.6 last week so not all bad!!!!) end of june: 156 something please! two weeks in france with family = small target! |

On Sat I crashed my bike which left me with two large hematomas that the Dr said could take 4-6 weeks to heal. My bike is fine but I'm feeling a little crushed right now in the 3 days I have been hurt I have gained 7 pounds of water weight maybe due to the painkillers or excess salt but it's driving me crazy. So for the month my goal is to recover and get down to 170. I was at 174 last Thursday but I will weigh in tomorrow and start from there. Sorry to hear about your crash!! Heal up, hope you're feeling better soon!!! |

I was doing well all winter, then I guess I decided to bulk up for race season and put on 15# in 3 months. Lost 5# last month and want to be down to 140# by the end of June. Hopefully this thread will help! Current weight: 214 End of month goal: 204 Been steadily losing weight for 8 weeks now and want to keep on the straight and narrow. I had been doing awesome, but this long weekend killed me a bit. I gained back 3 lbs that I had lost by eating out and drinking a grip of beer. But I'm back on the wagon and looking to kill it this month. |

If you post your weight it will turn blue as the ocean, but if you do any training of any kind and post it, it will change to an ugly peach color.saling4 - 2010-06-01 12:19 AM Lets see if we can all go PEACH for the whole month. I missed one day last month...grrrrr!!!! Wasn't paying attention. What does "go PEACH" mean? GOOD IDEA. I have a winter maintenance log in for the moment being winter here in australia. I look at it for the workout but really dont log my actuals. I think i change to the oly plan in August for the Noosa tri! |

Once that opens: Down the center of the page you will see: Wed, Jun 2 2010 Training - Nutrition - Copy/Move/Delete Inspire me [0 Click on Training. There are different sections to post to and you are on your way. Also weight will give you a blue square some type of training even if it is pulling weeds will give you a peach. |

However I have lost a bit of my workout mojo lately. I have been traveling and family is up from out of state. But I have stayed pretty strong on my diet. I did have some strawberry shortcake the past two days. But as far as desserts I could hvae went way worse. It was the first dessert I have had since mid feb. 6-2 = 253.0 6-9 = 6-17 = 6-24 = 6-31 = Goal 244.0 which will be a 60lb weight loss since I began in mid feb. |

Heck I weighed in on the weekend, ate like complete crap one day and felt horrible for it both physically and mentally, more physically then anything. I am wondering if eating that way triggered my metabolism again or something. Right after I went back into 1800 ish calories a day and lots of veg to keep me full. I am on a lower carb menu plan for myself 125-185g of carbs a day. anyways I was in shock yesterday and this morning. May end = 248 Jun 2 = 246 Down two more pounds. I can't wait to see myself under 240, I have not been there since college. Down 20 lbs from when I started now, my wife is down 11lbs. Very proud of her... still trying to convince her to come on here and use this site even though she is not into tri. Thanks everyone for insperation and accountability. Feeling GREAT today. |

I've been working out and losing weight for a while now, down 65 lb to 204. Today's weight was 205.2, though, so perhaps I should start there. Goal for end of June is 195. I, too, track my exercise elsewhere, though I think I'll explore the training log here as well to see if I will find it useful. |

Back on Jan. 1 I vowed to change my life and hit 40 feeling fabulous and I did. I went from 168 to 132 (I'm 5'1") and I finally got into a size 6. Since then I've been struggling a bit to find my mojo and keep it. I haven't weighed myself for weeks but I know I'm up a bit as some of my new clothes are getting tiiiiight. I think Team Skinny will be great for me to help with accountability as I head into summer. I have trouble not being on a schedule and come Saturday morning, I am schedule free! My first triathlon is August 21st--I am so looking forward to starting serious training! The only other training I've done before is for half marathons and marathons so this will all be new. I will face the scale tomorrow and weigh in a day late and get with the Wednesday weigh ins next week and learn as I go--I have a lot to figure out on this site as far as training logs, etc. Two more days of school and then I'm free as a bird!!! |
