Comments:

Passed swimmer in front of me at 100m Didn't catch anyone else until 40 meters left, and that lady was going really slowly. Did mid-lane pass.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little harder in the middle of the swim.
Transition 1
  • 01m 57s
What would you do differently?:

I need to figure out why I keep unclipping when I try to put my left shoe on. This probably cost me 15 seconds.

Post race
Warm down:

Donut *nom nom nom*
Assisted stretch

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I have 197 reasons. Or at least 10 reasons. They are called pounds.

A rival....no...make that a team mate suddenly improved his runs by over 1 minute / mile last week. Now I cannot run him down anymore. He has always been a little better on the bike, but I could catch him on the run.

Event comments:

Awesome volunteers / support. Race course was EXTRAORDINARILY WELL MARKED AND EASY TO NAVIGATE. Plenty of police / volunteers to help at intersections.

Tomorrow, I revisit the course in the Broadlands Tri.  Not expecting too much, except a faster swim.
