Pre-race routine:

arrived a bit early (5:45a) as I wasn't sure how long it would take me to get to race site..had a stale croissant and a cup of chai tea on the way there.
Event warmup:

Set up my stuff and walked around and talked to friends. Went down and leak tested my goggles as I was using a new pair.

meh nice swim in a shallow/pond lake..sighting went well only got caught behind one person on the way back who was zigzaging. I came out of the water 8th/36th in my age group..Im fast!!.. yay me!!hahahahaha not.really.

Great job speedy.  Thanks for not rubbing it in when you blew by me on the run.  I appreciate it.  It's probably a precursor to AZ.  It was good seeing you.

Glad you had a solid run in a tri. FOP on the swim...sweet!

Yep take that you cyclists....all those folks I passed on the back passed me back on the run plus some...if I was in your wave it would have been you.

So fun to race with you and catch up a little race.

Just so you know when you move up to my AG next year I expect you to serve ME tea!  You had a great race all around....I don't believe a word about your biking, you are faster every race!
