It looks like the new race director must be getting used to the job, there's a lot less information this year.  Does anyone have any idea when and where packet pickup is?  I can't find it on the web anywhere.  Maybe they are having race day pickup this year?

I was told that pickup was Friday 5-9 at Francis Scott Key Hotel and Saturday at the race site, starting at 7am (I think). When did you get this update?

Yeah that's the same thing I was told today.  I emailed the RD.  How did you know where it was - did it used to be on one of the websites?

No, I also contacted the race director.

It would be nice to be getting more information, like waves and water temperature.

Usually the waves are 3 minutes apart if I remember correctly.  Water temp is usually pretty cold but you still see a couple of people without wetsuits because it is such a beginner-packed race.  I know that's pretty general, but it's better than nothing. :-)

It's a pretty laid back race.  That brings with it pros and cons.  That said, it's a good race as well.
