Subject: Brew to Brew in Kansas City
Anyone in here run the Brew to Brew (42ish miles I think) run as a solo runner?  It's set up as a relay run but solo runners try it.

I've seen the Ott guy on here and daily mile.  Not lately though.

I'm toying with the idea but I don't know how the wife will handle that...

I'll need to check that race out - sounds like fun !

I'm moving to KC next month from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I've got to get involved in the tri group down there and find some fun races. A 42 mile run sounds great !

Quite a move!

There's plenty of groups.
KC Multisport
KC Tri
Kansas Triathlon Club
Just hit google and you can find plenty!

It is a fun race as there are hard core people and people that run for fun.  I've run one leg of 3 miles one year and a few years ago a couple of legs that added up to 16 miles.  Good times!

Oooh it is probably the funnest race I've ever done! I highly recommend! Allthough I've only done it as a relay. Lots of the teams dress up in costume. One year we were a 70s basketball team. The next year we were Superheros. Can't wait to do it again!

Thanks for the KC tips. I used to live down there about 15 years ago, but it was pre-running and triathlon life....... Looking forward to checking out the clubs mentioned and I'll need to remember this race.
